Description

The MEL® 90 excimer laser operates an energy control system which maintains constant pulse energy over multiple treatments. In order to ensure that constant energy without deviations is achieved, a fluence test must be performed prior to each treatment. The fluence test is used by the surgeon to calibrate the energy before each treatment. Additionally, fluence test is used by service engineers for maintenance, set up and repair purposes.
